Ed has worked in the sleep field since 2008, beginning with the William C. Dement Fellowship program under Dr. Mary Carskadon at Brown University/Bradley Hospital’s Sleep Research Program. He holds an MA in Counseling Psychology, is independently licensed in the state of Illinois, has completed extensive specialized training in the treatment of sleep disorders, and is an active practitioner and instructor of behavioral sleep medicine. Professional experience includes the Society for Behavioral Sleep Medicine, where he served on the Board and helped develop the industry-standard DBSM Credentialing Exam, and a funded study of insomnia and COPD via the University of Illinois at Chicago’s College of Nursing.
Ed lives and practices in the north suburbs of Chicago.
